Ritika
One morning an NGO named helping hands called the Ashram with details of an unnamed girl roaming around the petrol pump on Sanour road. The Ashram immediately sent an ambulance with 2 ladies to rescue her. She was brought to the Ashram to be taken care of. The following day a lady from nearby village came to visit her and gave the information that her name is Ritika and she had been married for last 4 years and even has a son. Her in laws troubles her and due to this reason, she has many times attempted to escape from them. Next day Ritika’s in-laws came to take her back. They had a statement issued by the village Panchayat and the Ashram have a copy of it.
Kuldeep Kaur
On 24th September 2020 an unnamed girl who was mentally upset, was rescued by the areas ASI and 2 ladies constable from Lahori gate and was handed over to the Ashram. Taking care on the pandemic she was tested negative for corona from government hospital. She was very troublesome and was not even telling her name at first. After few days she told her name as Kuldeep Kaur. She even gave a number on which the Ashram called but had no response. On 5th October Kuldeep’s family member came and took her away.
