Medical Services

The patients of the ashram receive proper medical care. There are 4 different wards of patients, 2 female and 2 male and each one of them has a supervisor that lives with them 24/7 to look after their health. The supervisors keep a health check on patients and report to the doctor and nurse of the ashram. The patients receive their daily medicines from the doctor and nurse. The medical expertise of ashram goes on several rounds around all the wards and check on patients themselves. For patients who is critical and taken to hospitals for checkups on daily basis. Patients with still in contact with their family members provide them with their medicines. But as most of the patients here are homeless and orphan their medical expenses are handled by the ashram itself.  Being a charitable trust, most medicines are donated by a local doctors and hospitals on monthly basis.

In Well Condition Poonam
On 13^th March 2020 Ram Niwas, a local resident along with his sister brought his wife Poonam to the Ashram to hand her over. Poonam used to live in Delhi. She was married in 2001. After 4 years of marriage, her mental health started deteriorating. Poonam blabbers a lot. She even beats a person who is sleeping. She tends to breaks the household items. Once she jumped off the rooftop and injured herself. She even has the injury mark and walks with difficulty. Her husband and sister-in-law often come to visit her. Her son is in 12^th class and also visits her mother. The family provides the Ashram with her medications, clothes and a fixed amount of money for her treatment.

Missing Krishna
Krishna was found outside Rajindra Hospital in an unconscious state. He was admitted to Ashram by an NGO ‘Friend Health Club’. His right leg is wounded and there is a lot of swelling in it. He was treated with medical assistance. After he got better, he ran away from the Ashram. This incident was reported to authorities and his family member.
